The Al-Sabtain Academy for Autism and Developmental Disorders is an institution under the Health and Medical Education Authority affiliated with the **Holy Al-Hussain Shrine**.

It is the first of its kind in Iraq and the fourth in the Middle East.

The academy was opened in 2022, covering an area of 9,000 square meters, with a capacity for over 500 children.

The center aims to provide the best training programs and educational services to support and develop the self-abilities of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disorders, enabling them to take care of themselves, achieve independence, and integrate into society. It also focuses on providing support and family guidance for the parents and families of individuals with ASD. Additionally, the academy prepares trained and specialized staff in the training and education of children with ASD and graduates specialists in the care of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
