The Warith International Cancer Treatment Foundation was established under the auspices of the Al-Husayniyah Holy Shrine and the religious supervisor Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbala'i (may his reign be everlasting), operating under the Health and Medical Education Authority. The foundation aims to provide high-quality, non-profit diagnostic and treatment services for all cancer patients, in addition to establishing a research and study center focused on cancer within the hospital.

The Warith Foundation strives to facilitate access to suitable treatment and high-quality care for patients, reducing the need for travel outside Iraq. It aims to enhance the medical landscape in Iraq, particularly in the field of oncology, aspiring to rank among the leading global institutions.
