Al-Mujtaba Center for Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation is the first private (non-governmental) center in Iraq authorized by the Iraqi Ministry of Health to perform advanced bone marrow transplantation procedures.

Imam Zain Al-Abidin Educational Hospital is a teaching hospital affiliated with the Al-Husayniyah Holy Shrine. It was inaugurated in May 2016 and has a bed capacity of 217. The hospital's outpatient department includes 36 specialized clinics, as well as international and European centers, an IVF center, an Arab Board training center, a physical therapy center, and an electronic clinic. The hospital is contracted with the Iraqi Ministry of Health to treat patients requiring medical evacuation.
