For the first time in such a large gathering, we introduced a spatial treatment system through field hospitals surrounding the holy sanctuary. This initiative was coordinated with the Karbala Health Directorate, the Iraqi Ministry of Health, and supporting entities to ensure the success of this year’s Arbaeen pilgrimage health plan.
This system, facilitated by the Crowd Medicine Center within the Health and Medical Education Authority, proved effective in providing advanced healthcare, even for critical cases like heart attacks, which affected many elderly visitors. Field hospitals successfully provided necessary medical care, significantly reducing the need for patient transfers to general hospitals.
“We are proud to serve our esteemed visitors and would like to extend our gratitude to all medical teams, staff, and volunteer organizations who worked tirelessly to ensure the success of this plan.”
